to Paw’s Ranch Club Calves. We
are proud of our small but growing club calf operation in Poway, California.
The Paw's Ranch cowherd is made up of registered chianina, chimaine, maine
and shorthorn females that have been carefully selected for show calf production.
Our market has been primarily local 4-H and FFA members which we enjoy following
during the show season. Show heifers for sale year round and club calves
available late Summer - early fall. Put your order in early! We don't have
high numbers but do have very high quality that goes extremely quick! We
will also be bringing some great club calves in from a partner in Oklahoma
and will have those pictures available in the spring. E-mail us for pictures
or watch our web page for updates. If we don't have what you need, we will
do our best to locate it for you or send you in the right direction.
First calves are on the ground out of our Recently purchasd purebred registered
polled red and white Shorthorn bull "LC Diamonds Apache 01L" and
they are looking great. Sire: Diamond Leggs 21. Born March 18, 2001. Bred
by and purchased from Church Family Shorthorns, Sentinel, OK. Apache seems
to work well on Angus, Maine and of course Shorthorns. He's sizing them
down and thickening them up and all the calves out of horned cows are polled!
We will be collecting him once we move in the fall. Semen will be available
for next spring breeding season!
